Job Description:

The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is a highly skilled nurse who has achieved a master's or doctoral level of education, and has developed expertise in a specialized area of patient care. The APN is responsible for assessing and managing patients, ordering diagnostic tests and consultations, and implementing and evaluating care plans. This role also involves collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality, family-centered care.

• Conduct patient assessments and physical examinations
• Order and interpret medical tests
• Administer medications and treatments
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Mentor new staff and students Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Current NP License, ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications
  • Proficient with medical recordkeeping systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Physical Demands:
    • Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching
    • Handling, grasping, and eye/hand/foot coordination
    • Talking and hearing
