Neonatologist needed in Schenectady, NY

Medical Associates, seeks t - recruit a board certified Neonatologist for our level 2+ NICU at Bellevue Womans Center located in Schenectady, NY.

- The neonatologist will care for infants in the NICU and mother-baby unit, provide high risk OB/neonatal consults, and attend high-risk deliveries. Bellevue's Level II Special Care
- Nursery is one of only three in northeastern New York that provides these specialized services for infants over 30 weeks gestation in need of non-surgical medical intervention and care.
- Womans Center is the regions only inpatient facility dedicated t - the care of women and infants - a trusted name in women's health for three-quarters of a century. OB/GYN services include breast care, surgery, gynecologic care and maternity, and features the region's first OB/GYN Hospitalist program t - deliver enhanced care for pregnant women.

About Neonatology Program:
- 2,000+ deliveries annually;
- 15 bed level 2B NICU;
- Average 190+ NICU admissions annually;
- Call rotation is about 1, every 3-4 days. Out of house call with 20-minute radius;
- Care for infants gestational age 30 weeks and older;
- Supervision and teaching of family medicine residents.

REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certification;
- NYS licensure;
- DEA Certification;
