Mobile Crisis ClinicianEvening schedule (3-11pm)Starting salary
of $65,000 and Sign-on Bonus of $2,500!Relocation Package available
within New York State!A nationwide survey in 2019 found 20.78% of
adults were experiencing a mental illness That is equivalent to
over 50 million Americans. Our Mobile Crisis program at Northern
Rivers Family of Services covers six counties in the
Capital/Adirondack Region - meaning WE are the emergency services
for mental health in our community.Our Mobile Crisis Program needs
Clinicians who enjoy crisis and intervention work, or are wanting
to get involved and learn with a trauma informed agency and a
dedicated Clinician team that is peer based in service and will
train those with the drive and desire to use their clinical skills
to help their community receive the mental health services it
needs.What a Mobile Crisis Clinician can expect at Northern
Rivers:Provide rapid response and short-term crisis
assessment/intervention to adults, children, adolescents, and
families, who are in crisis by phone and on-site within the
community, wherever the individual is experiencing the
crisis.Participate in an acute care hospital emergency
room/behavioral health services rotation system designed to
facilitate and strengthen community-based crisis intervention
services.Conduct risk assessments, mental status examinations, and
substance abuse screening.Analyze information to identify action
plan, including crisis stabilization plan, safety and crisis
prevention plans and plan for follow-up. Consult with team and
supervisor as appropriate.Coordinate with community based
therapeutic resources and agencies for collateral input and
follow-up care, including referrals for substance abuse assessment
and treatment.Cultivate our continued partnerships with police
agencies as secondary support for the Mobile Crisis program in
their role as initial responders to mental health crisis calls.Six
months of hands on, peer-based learning with fellow team
Clinicians, along with de-escalation techniques and safety
procedures for the health of not only our clients, but our team
members.Work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes and
other community locations where there may be pets, cigarette smoke,
etc.Be included in rotation of schedule to provide coverage during
holidays and other team members' vacations, as well as one weekend
every four weeks in rotation with team.Your experience and
qualifications:Candidates with their LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R,
MSW-LP or MHC-LP licensure, must be license eligible and willing to
apply for a limited permit in discipline upon hire.Requires a
Masters' degree in related field.Willing to pass and obtain
licensure within 6 months of hireMust possess a valid NYS Driver's
License and be willing/able to drive to clients' homes and
communities under a variety of circumstances and weather
