Outside Sales Training Manager Davidson, North Carolina fi DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES The Outside Sales Training Manager manages outside sales training personnel and partners cross-functionally to drive behavioral change in the sales organization aligned with our Fuel Potential Strategy. Key areas of responsibility are integrating our sales methodology into our onboarding programs, skills workshops, digital learning tools, and performance improvement programs in order to drive measurable business results. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Secures the efficiency and effectiveness of training to all MSC Outside Sales Associates by directly Managing the efforts of Outside Sales Trainers. Partner with Sr. Sales Leadership to deliver learning solutions that drive improved wallet share growth, speed to readiness, and win the customers trust. Work with Sr. Sales Leadership to design and develop sales plays. Coordinates learning data and analysis to identify learning needs, partner on recommended solutions, and report on ROI results of learning interventions. Regularly assess development needs of sales associates at all levels (including collecting and analyzing data drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.) Manages the assessment, goal development, instructional design, implementation, facilitation, and measurement of the new hire onboarding process and other Outside Sales Training Workshops as defined by management. Identify and implement feedback mechanisms to measure impact of training. Facilitate workshops and other learning activities as needed. Design and develop workshops and all support materials as needed (instructor guides, workbooks, job aides, etc.) Conduct research on best practices in sales associate skill development, including competitors approaches. Provide input to Sales Training departments vision and business plans relative to sales associate development. Partner with training and consulting providers (training vendors, Organizational Learning & Development, subject matter experts, etc.). Develop and Manage Outside Sales Training budget. Help plan, develop and manage overall Sales Training budget with Director of Sales Training Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSCs mission. Perform all duties inherent in the role of an MSC Manager including hiring, terminating, delivering reviews, and developing direct reports. Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required. MUST-HAVES A Bachelors Degree or the equivalent experience required. 3 to 5 years training experience Minimum of 3 years management experience. Experience with measuring ROI on training required.
