continuous improvement.JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the CEO and as a
member of the Senior Leadership Team, directs the organization's
human resources function as the Chief Human Resources Officer on
all matters involving and impacting our employee team. As a
"Player-Coach," provides technical advice, assistance, and
knowledge to management and the HR team in developing,
communicating, and implementing organization personnel policies,
practices, wage, and benefits programs. Responsible for developing
and implementing the strategic human resource plan to provide our
Organization with the best people talent available and to position
our Organization as an Employer of Choice.Leads and continuously
improves core people processes and the Organization's talent
management processes and programs, including but not limited to
performance management, compensation reviews, employee survey
action planning, talent review, gap analysis, succession planning,
organizational design, and headcount planning.Responsible for
developing and implementing the HR Strategic Plan.Advises and
coaches on employee and labor relations issues and supports
managers through the performance management process for their
teams.Partners effectively across other parts of the organization
including but not limited to the CEO, Operations, Finance,
Compliance and Medical and Dental Services to provide the key
workforce context to support Organization decisions.Reinforces a
high-performance culture by collaborating closely with our managers
on how to set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing
and direct feedback. Utilizes data to identify gaps and propose
training coaching opportunities or discipline as necessary.
Develops and delivers management / leadership skills training.As
the lead changemaker, helps the organization to continue to improve
the working environment and our employee relations.Ensures that our
people Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and our Employee
Handbook are current and compliant, reflecting the Organization's
strategic goals and focus.Evaluates and engages people to gain deep
knowledge on the unique talent challenges of the team, then
collaborates with leaders and team members to address those
challenges and provide HR knowledge transfer opportunities as
warranted, including but not limited to retention strategies and
partnering with Operations to execute the
strategy.RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS:10 - 15+ years progressively
responsible HR roles including generalist leadership experience or
exposure to areas such as employment, talent acquisition, talent
management, learning and development, employee engagement, employee
and/or union relations, compensation, policy development, benefit
administration, organizational planning and change leadership.7+
years of experience guiding, developing, coaching and managing a
team.Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or closely
related field and/or progressive HR leadership experience.SHRM-CP,
SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR, or the ability and willingness to work
toward this goal preferred.Experience working in a nonprofit
healthcare and/or dental practice setting highly encouraged. Board
of Directors presentation experience a plus.Labor / Union Relations
experience preferred but not required - great on-the-job learning
opportunity.Experience creating and executing tactical HR
strategies that solve people and business problems.Excellent
communication skills and collaboration strategies with an innate
ability to promote a team environment and motivate others, who can
relate to people at all levels of an organization and possesses
superior communication skills. Understands management, delegation,
and motivational concepts.Superior writing skills, including but
not limited to developing and updating HR policies and other
compliance requirements.High level of integrity, authenticity, and
trust that permeates throughout the organization.Strong knowledge
and prior experience managing HR law and compliance on the Federal
and NYS levels.Intermediate to advanced experience with Paychex
Flex or similar HRIS and Microsoft Office tools such as Excel,
Word, Teams and PowerPoint.Demonstrated ability to coach, develop
and lead in a dynamic and fast paced environment.A decisive
individual who possesses a strategic focus as well as an
operational, implementation and detail-oriented perspective with
consistency in follow through, meeting / exceeding cost and
deadline goals.Ability to perform multifaceted projects in
conjunction with day-to-day activities.An excellent facilitator /
mediator with strong experience and results in resolving conflicts
between different parties to a dispute.Apply online at
