Job Description - Sr. Manager - Process Improvement (21000028) Job Description Sr. Manager - Process Improvement - ( 21000028 ) Description General Description : Responsible for leading, facilitating, and teaching DMAIC methodology to drive transformative change in cross functional processes, Utilizing Lean/6Sigma concepts and principles. Team Kaizen and other Improvement Activities:

  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen and improvement activity with cross functional teams
  • Mapping of current, future and ideal states
  • Gap analysis to improvement action plans
  • Program manage a portfolio of teams
  • Report progress and needs to leadership including ELT at times
  • Teach teams tool use and concepts through project and Kaizen activities Develop tools and training materials:
    • Develop templates, tools, and training material for Lean/6Sigma practitioners across the organization
    • Utilize online digital training programs to develop curriculum of self-paced learning Qualifications Education and Experience
      • BS Degree in technical field preferred
      • Experience in the application of Lean and/or 6 Sigma tools and methodology. Preference of Lean
      • 5+ years of leadership experience
      • Operational leadership experience is a plus
      • Experience in businesses with heavy chemical manufacturing
      • Working knowledge of cross functional business processes Specific Functional Competency Requirements

        • Ability to facilitate cross functional process mapping activities
