The CFO role will provide overall strategy and direction for a 200+ finance organization globally. The role will drive the overall finance strategy for the business, as well as the functional accountability and operational execution of broad company objectives in support of $1.5B+ in volume. This role will work in close collaboration with the CEO, and his/her staff, including the region GMs to establish an overall finance operating and execution framework. Finally, the leader will work in partnership with the FieldCore leadership team to support growth, drive financial operating excellence & controllership, manage complex functional issues, lead short & long-term financial planning & analysis, and develop & drive a culture of safety, integrity, and compliance throughout our business.Essential Functions:

  • Provide overall leadership & strategy for a global finance organization of 200+ staff supporting business goals and objectives
  • Set operational execution and rigor with the FieldCore leadership team to assure standards and/or programs are effectively delivered that meet operating budgets/costs, margin, or other financial stewardship metrics/goals.
  • Lead the development, implementation and measurement of operating plans and participate in their successful execution (Lead SII and Op Plan pacing, quarterly and/or annually)
  • Ensure key SOPS and controls are in place to support a world class financial operation.
  • Provide business performance data to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination
  • Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cost reduction, VCP, productivity, etc.). Recommend and influence needed actions to maximize op margins, costs, etc.
  • Build a diverse, high performing, collaborative team who consistently delivers results
  • Drive corporate controllership standards & compliance globally (adherence to policy, internal controls, etc.)
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on capital expenditures, restructuring, and other projects as required
  • Drive global leadership for the Manila Global Service Excellence Center (MGSEC)
  • Lead global payroll organization to deliver seamless execution, while driving regional metrics and continuous improvements
  • Understand regulatory changes and trends and forecast business impact
  • Coach & development finance employees for career growth and competency development
  • Build effective working relationships across the entire business leadership team
  • Drive compliance and risk strategy for corporate tax liability, including adherence to region, statutory, and country regulations
  • Participate in business planning reviews and approval meetings and keep senior management advised of material developments
  • Deliver on fiscal year points, such as quarter closing and year end closing effectively to meet or exceed targets
  • Communicate business financial performance on regular basis to CEO and leadership teamQualifications/Requirements
    • Bachelors or 4 year degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Business Administration or related field
    • Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in finance, accounting, corporate audit, compliance or controllership
    • 3 or more years of executive leadership experienceDesired Characteristics
      • Masters degree from an accredited university or college in Finance, Accounting, Operations Management or MBA
      • Minimum of 15 years of combined experience in finance, accounting, corporate audit, compliance or controllership
      • 5 or more years of global executive leadership experience
      • Strong knowledge of Gas Power business, and/or FieldCore's operations and services business model.
      • Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills
      • Strong project management, and organizational skills
      • Ability to work in a matrix environment, influence and motivate diverse teams to achieve a unified goal
      • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as organizations outside of FieldCore (including customers and regulatory agencies)
      • Strong executive presentation skills, and written communication skills
      • FMP / Corporate Audit Staff graduate (GE Employees only)
      • Certified accountant is preferred
      • Strong listening skills; able to drive a positive employee relations culture into the field
      • Change agent with strong credibility and influencing skills and the proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders to become supporters
      • Experience of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders through to successful completion within time constraints
