We are seeking a Risk Management Program Support Specialist to show initiative and exercise judgement. You will design, develop, analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development, analyze effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources and design systems, software and equipment layout. Participating on the engineering work team, you’ll develop, implement, install, test, modify and/or operate complex equipment and systems as well as support other team members concerning experiment design, materials, equipment setup/maintenance and related issues. What you’ll experience: Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they’re often top-secret A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered What you bring to the table: A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree Demonstrate narrowly focused in-depth technical level of practical operational process knowledge in a specific engineering area Demonstrate technical competence in the setup, monitoring and documentation of experiments and/or lab equipment What sets you apart: Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task Commitment to ongoing professional development Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Key Responsibilities: Risk Management Program Support Specialist will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for assigned projects, overseeing the financial performance and ensuring alignment with project goals Develop and manage control account plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation Conduct detailed financial analysis and modeling to support project decision-making Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards Monitor project financial performance, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to stay within budget and schedule constraints Identify, assess, and manage project risks, developing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and support project execution Assist in the preparation of financial and risk management presentations for senior management and stakeholders Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures, and government contracting regulations Workplace Options: This position is on-site, you will be a part of the Pittsfield, MA. We are not offering relocation assistance at this time. Target salary range: USD $87,000.00/Yr. - USD $92,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
