Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their
team. The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing,
developing, testing, and overseeing the production of mechanical
systems and components. Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Location: Saratoga Springs, NY area What’s the Job? • Responsible
for the mechanical design of military grade systems including power
transformers and other magnetic assemblies. • Research, design,
analyze and perform electro-mechanical layouts for high and low
voltage electronic military and industrial equipment • Design
systems using SOLIDWORKS solid modeling software & ensure thermal
and structural integrity of designs through extensive analysis
using SOLIDWORKS SIMULATION FEA and SOLIDWORKS FLO SIMULATION CFD
software • Participate & lead design reviews and quality assurance
activities to maintain high standards of product quality and
reliability. What’s Needed? • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical
Engineering or related field • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a
mechanical engineer in an industrial setting • Minimum 5 years’
experience in the following categories: Structural frame design,
electronics packaging, thermal analysis, structural analysis, &
