We are looking for a Desktop Engineer to help support our client. This role is on site 5x a week. Looking to interview and start ASAP. This position is a long term contract and currently located in Downtown but moving to Midtown, NYC. Client DetailsLeading Financial Company seeking a Desktop Engineer!Description

• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware. Troubleshoot and resolve problems with desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software applications. Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as applying patches, updates, and antivirus software to ensure systems are secure and up-to-date. Monitor system performance and conduct regular backups.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems and escalate issues to appropriate personnel when necessary. Analyze system logs and identify potential issues proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of support requests, repairs, and solutions provided. Document procedures and guidelines for troubleshooting common technical issues.Profile
  • Level 2 or level 3 helpdesk
  • Desktop Engineer who can help set up, and profile machines, and someone that is willing to move equipment
  • Set up new laptops - update with windows, MS Teams, ect.
  • Desktop imaging
  • SCCM
