Full-Time, ExemptPosition can be Remote/Virtual This position will have responsibility for working with cloud platforms and exhibit a passion for automating and developing DevSecOps best practices. Candidate will drive automation and containerization strategies that align with DevSecOps principles and standards. This candidate will collaborate with product owners, developers, cloud engineers, DevSecOps engineers and operations to plan, design, test and deliver pipelines and infrastructure using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) model. Candidate must possess the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions. Candidates will participate in review of individual applications and suggest additional security safeguards. Manage CI/CD infrastructure and software delivery. The successful candidate should be an independent thinker with excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize multiple demands in an aggressive paced environment. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide hands on automation skills designing and building pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS) of enterprise applications. Design, build, and implement reusable YAML pipelines and configuration while adhering to best practices. Lead engagements to improve DevOps environment management and footprint across all functional areas Present a diversified knowledge of DevOps strategies and best practices as they relate to multiple engineering disciplines and technologies Serve as the subject matter expert for software development lifecycle tools as they relate to the DevOps ecosystem - source control, container management, and orchestration, application performance monitoring, server monitoring, configuration management, CI/CD, and artifact management Demonstrate expert-level application of source code management tools, encompassing the implementation and management of branching methodologies and policies in multi and mono-repository environments Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure system designs are secure, scalable, and reliable Enable automated unit, performance, and security testing in the automation pipelines. Ensure appropriate security controls are achieved and maintained as mandated through regulatory guidelines Design, develop and maintain the necessary infrastructure ecosystem required to provision and consistently configure multiple dev/test/prod environments, ensuring robustness Review deployment and operational environments, i.e., execute initiatives to reduce failure, troubleshoot issues across the entire infrastructure stack Partner heavily with internal teams such as Architecture, Software Engineering, Quality Assurance, Product Definition, Cybersecurity, and IT Infrastructure Provide guidance, coaching, training on build, test, and release management best practices. Available for night and weekend, off-hour activities if required JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Azure. 5+ years' experience creating continuous integration and delivery pipelines leveraging cloud native architectures on Microsoft Azure Cloud. 5+ years' Experience with Azure DevOps Tools for plan, build, test, release, and monitor. Experience with Azure Portal, Containers (Docker/Kubernetes), PowerShell/Python scripting, Git, Linux/Windows shell, Azure Resource Management (ARM) templates Extensive experience with scripting and debugging on Linux and/or Windows environments using various tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell and/or Python) Understanding of Test Automation tools and scripts to facilitate Test Driven Development - - -Education/Degree: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience. Experience: 8+ years' experience in enterprise developer/operations technologies. Desired: Demonstrated strong Microsoft Computing infrastructure knowledge with technologies like; but not limited to; Windows Server, Office 365, and Azure, Azure DevOps. Experience with Git / GitHub or other modern source control tools. Expertise with DevSecOps automation tools and technologies (e.g., Docker, Puppet, Jenkins, etc.) and experience administering IIS and web application security (certificates, hardening, etc.) Expertise in provisioning, governing and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions (Compute, Network, Security, Storage) Experience using enterprise monitoring tools (Application Insights) Experience administering Microsoft Power Platform (Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Logic Apps) Experience developing in .NET Core, TypeScript, Mocha and Chi Testing, and ADO Extension Development Experience with Azure technologies (Azure Stack, Azure Functions, ARM Templates / Bicep, App Insights) Hands-on experience in implementing and maintaining Azure Kubernetes Services/Clusters, Docker containers Prior experience in using cloud APIs to automate provisioning, deployment, and improve system performance Experience with Azure DevOps and pipeline creation using YAML and Classic Experience with Microservices deployment and release management Microsoft - Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Developer Associate About MVPMVP Health Care is a nationally recognized, not-for-profit health insurer caring for more than 700,000 members in New York and Vermont.
