Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A K-12 school in New Hartford, NY is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential speech therapy services during a contract assignment through the end of the 2025-2026 school year. This opportunity supports a smooth transition as the current SLP retires and requires a dedicated professional to deliver comprehensive support across all grade levels. Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student success Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations Qualifications: Valid New York State certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (all required NY certs must be current) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred Experience working with K-12 populations in school settings Strong communication and collaborative skills Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs Location:New Hartford, NY - K-12 school environment Details: Contract assignment starting ASAP End date: June 6, 2026 This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication skills in a supportive, educational setting.
