Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A certified
Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) is needed to support K-12
students in an educational setting. This contract position will
begin as soon as possible and continue through the end of the
school year. The role is based in Schenectady, NY, serving a
diverse student population across all grade levels. Key
responsibilities include: Conducting speech and language
evaluations to identify student needs Developing and implementing
individualized treatment plans Providing direct therapy services to
students with speech and language disorders Collaborating with
teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student
progress Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance with
school and state guidelines Preferred qualifications: Certification
as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) Experience working with
school-aged children, ideally within K-12 settings Knowledge of
relevant laws and educational standards for speech-language
services Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability
to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
