Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in
School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A certified
School Psychologist is needed to support students across grades
K-5, 6-8, and 9-12 in a dynamic school setting, located in Rome,
NY. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide
essential psychological services to a diverse student population,
working collaboratively within an educational team to promote
student success and well-being. Responsibilities include conducting
psychological assessments, interpreting evaluation results,
developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and consulting
with teachers, parents, and staff to address students academic,
social, and emotional needs. The role requires implementing
intervention strategies, crisis management support, and maintaining
detailed documentation in compliance with state and federal
guidelines. Preferred qualifications include: - Valid certification
or licensure as a School Psychologist - Experience working with
students in grades K-12, with a focus on middle and high school
levels - Strong assessment and diagnostic skills - Knowledge of
educational and psychological testing tools - Ability to
collaborate effectively with educators, families, and
multidisciplinary teams - Excellent communication and
organizational skills Located in Rome, NY, this position offers a
