A dynamic opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students across Grades K-12 in an educational setting located in Utica, NY. This contract position plays a vital role in fostering student well-being, academic success, and emotional development through comprehensive psychological services. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. - Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized intervention plans. - Provide counseling and crisis intervention services. - Monitor student progress and modify support strategies accordingly. - Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of educational policies. - Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field. - Valid NY State certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. - Experience working with students in grades K-12, with a focus on middle and high school populations. - Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to diverse school environments.
