Job Description Job Description We are looking for an
experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in the Capital
Region, New York. This position combines hands-on maintenance
expertise with expanded administrative responsibilities. While
you’ll continue working closely with the team and providing direct
support to mechanics, approximately 75% of your time will focus on
office-based tasks. This includes gaining valuable experience in
budget management and understanding the financial aspects of
operations, offering a unique opportunity to grow both technical

established safety programs and protocols. Foster collaboration and
teamwork among personnel. Oversee training for mechanics and
preventative maintenance staff. Maintain compliance with all
applicable regulatory agencies and statutes. Ensure accurate and
timely completion of repair orders by technicians. Manage inventory
control and maintenance of equipment. Train and assist mechanics in
diagnosing and repairing vehicles and equipment. Schedule and
assign work to mechanics, preventative maintenance staff, and other
maintenance personnel. Coordinate or arrange transportation of
vehicles to outside service providers for repairs, as needed. Test
vehicles to troubleshoot issues and verify repairs for proper and
safe completion. Respond to emergency road calls to repair
vehicles. Communicate regularly with maintenance leadership. Assist
in monthly financial projections and annual budgeting. Maintain
departmental costs within established budget guidelines.
Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in truck, light, or
heavy equipment maintenance and repair Ability to train and
motivate team members effectively. Knowledge of air brake,
hydraulic, and electrical systems. Trade or technical school
certification preferred; High School diploma or equivalent
required. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and
equipment.
