Job Description Job Description In this role, you will coordinate the dispatch of club-owned fleet vehicles and contractors, prioritize service calls, and ensure members receive timely assistance. Please note: 8-hour day shifts 3PM-11PM following training. Responsibilities: Receive incoming emergency road service calls and dispatch tow trucks to the correct locations. Follow up on service calls to ensure members receive assistance promptly. Prioritize calls based on safety, weather, traffic, location, and other factors, ensuring police and emergency calls are addressed within established timeframes. Track fleet driver productivity, schedules, and behaviors using Fleet Tracker and Samsara. Assist members with packets, renewal callbacks, and membership inquiries. Communicate with affiliate clubs regarding membership status and approvals. Conduct Keeping Members Informed (KMI) procedures. Dispatch private contractor networks effectively. Assist with training new dispatch personnel. Respond to Podium Requests and member complaint escalations. Assist ERS Manager/Admin & Fleet Supervisor with towing damage investigations. Monitor phone queues and assist drivers with battery inventory scans. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic automotive knowledge. Previous dispatching and/or call-taking experience preferred. Knowledge of the Capital District, surrounding counties, and rural communities. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle stressful, fast-paced situations with patience and empathy. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, overtime, and holidays as required. Proficiency with computers, email, data entry, and mapping tools such as Google Maps.
